戦場のピアニスト~ピアノ・オン・スクリーン
はっきりいって技術的に問題がある。
特にバラード1番など、難しい箇所は必ずといっていいほど誤魔化した演奏になっている。
それでも相当編集したのであろう。（よくプツリという小音がする。）
それだけショパンの曲は誤魔化しが効かないのである。
世界一の難曲を弾くなどと言われている某女流ピアニストがショパンのバラード1番を弾かないのはその辺りに理由があるのではなかろうか？
普段聴いているピアニストが世界屈指の最高レベルであるためだとは思うが、CDでじっくりと聴くと、ここまで差があるのだなと痛感した。
情熱的な演奏であり、最後の華麗なる大ポロネーズなどは元気よく、好印象であるが、それ以上でもそれ以下でもない。
Reading Japanese with a Smile: Nine Stories from a Japanese Weekly Magazine for Intermediate Learners
This is an excellent resource for Japanese learners seeking reading materials that are both interesting and informative.
Each story is presented in Japanese as it appeared in the tabloid (i.e., no furigana). Followed by an English translation. Then each story is broken down sentence by sentence in Japanese with furigana, vocabulary translations, grammar explanations and any cultural notes if required.
The contents taken from the Japanese tabloid, Shukan Asahi, are just like tabloid articles found anywhere in the world (e.g., USA, Australia, UK). That is they're probably exaggerated, hard to believe and at times they highlight the negative traits of people. Hence, they are interesting to read. Unlike the negative review of this book, I don't believe that the contents of these stories reflect badly on Japan, but rather highlight the nature of tabloid journalism regardless of its country of origin.

DECの技術者と、マイクロソフトの経営者の協働（きょうどう）が、WindowsNTであることを知る人は技術者以外にはいないだろう。
まして、Windows New TechnologyのWNTが、DECのVMSの次の文字であることを知る人はもっと少ないかもしれない。
サイエンスフィクション（SF)ででてくるHALが、IBMの次の文字であることをなぞらえたように。
マイクロソフトは、BASIC以外のMS-DOSの時代から、よその技術を持ってきて、販売する会社であることを知っていれば、本書に違和感はない。
また、２０年ほど前には、UNIXの最大のベンダであったことも知っているとよい。Xenixの販売代理をしていて、PC-UNIXといえば、マイクロソフトのXENIXだということを知っていると、よく分かるかもしれない。
背景知識がないと、一部誤解する人もいるかもしれない。
